Speaker urges Arab solidarity to stave off challenges

Cairo, Feb. 16 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal stressed the importance of pan-Arab solidarity and cooperation to overcome current challenges and difficulties. She said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, attaches great importance to strengthening solidarity, consultation and coordination between Arab countries. She stressed the need to take stances in the current circumstances to address the mounting challenges facing the Arab regional, hailing the drive of the Arab Interparliamentary Union to bolster pan-Arab solidarity. Zainal made the statement as she took part this evening in consultative meetings of the heads of Arab parliaments, on the sidelines of the 32nd session of the Arab Interparliamentary Union in Cairo.
