Ooredoo Cup - Announcement of Semifinals Schedule

Doha, February 28 (QNA) - The Qatar Stars League announced the 2021-2022 season Ooredoo Cup semifinals schedule. It has been decided that both semifinals will be played on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club, with Al-Wakra playing against Al-Gharafa at 5 o'clock, followed by the Al-Sailiya match with Al-Rayyan at 8 PM at the same stadium. Al-Wakra team topped Group A with 18 points, having won 6 times and drawn 2 times without losing any matches. Al-Rayyan next comes next with 12 points having won 4 times and lost 4 times. Al-Sailiya topped the second group with 15 points through winning 4 times, drawing 3 times and losing only one time, allowing Al-Gharafa to come after it with 11 points reaped through winning 3 times, drawing 3 times and losing one match. Last year, Al-Sailiya won the title of the tournament for the first time, after defeating Al-Rayyan (2-0) In the final of the 2020-2021 season.
