QNV 2030 also attaches great attention to womens right to participate in the economy, as well as provide them with decent work and social protection, as Qatar has been at the forefront of women's rights advocates at the local and global levels, the paper added.
The daily also said that Qatari women today are proud of the successes they have achieved in diplomatic work, in obtaining membership in many organizations, committees and position in the United Nations, and in being chosen by Member States and the UN Secretary-General to lead international efforts to follow up on the implementation of international instruments and the development of international institutions, stressing that this affirms the distinguished position of the State of Qatar at the international level and the world's confidence in it as a reliable partner to achieve the goals of the international community.
The paper emphasised the pivotal role that Qatari women played, alongside men, in various political, economic, social, sport and other sectors, in a manner that translates the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Concluding, Al-Raya said that in various historical stages, Qatari women have played important roles imposed by the nature of life, and the permanent Constitution of the State of Qatar came to confirm these active roles for women, enhance their rights and criminalize discrimination against them.
