Qatar University Young Scientists Center Concludes Activities of 4th Youth Research Forum

Doha, March 13 (QNA) - Qatar University Young Scientists Center, in cooperation with Qatar National Commission for Education , Culture and Science, concluded the activities of the 4th Youth Research Forum, which was held virtually this year. About 150 researchers from 15 Arab and foreign countries participated in the two-day forum, who presented their research and research posters, which revolved around three main axes: the axis of national identity and social and cultural heritage, the legal axis, and the science, engineering and medicine axis. The Director of Qatar University Young Scientists Center Dr. Noora Jabor Al-Thani, said that the forum was keen this year to discuss important axes and basic pillars related to the World Cup in scientific, cultural, social, engineering and medical aspects. It also sought to achieve sustainable knowledge for young people, and open channels of communication for research and knowledge among researchers from around the world. For his part, the Acting Secretary-General of Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science Ali Abdulrazzaq Al-Marafi, said: " The Youth Research Forum has become a platform for dialogue and a common space gathering the worlds youth of every gender, color, and faith. They exchange visions, express their opinions on the issues and challenges facing the world today, and collectively review means to overcome such challenges in ways that contribute to consolidating the principles of international peace and security, respecting human rights, rejecting violence, promoting partnership and cooperation instead of waging conflicts and wars. The Forum is also encouraging our youth to participate in the development and building efforts in their respective countries." At the end of the ceremony, the three best research papers and the best three research posters were announced. (QNA)
