NSSA, Turkish Ambassador discuss cooperation

Manama, Mar. 16 (BNA): National Space Science Agency (NSSA) CEO Dr. Mohamed Ebrahim Al Aseeri received Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Esen Çakil. They reviewed topics related to space matters and discussed cooperation in related fields that could serve the objectives of the two countries in this field. The ambassador expressed her admiration for the level of services provided by the NSSA, praising the successful investment in young Bahrainis in the space sector. She hailed the authority's support to empower Bahraini women and enhance NSSA's reputation internationally. She was briefed on the authority and its most prominent activities and projects, including the "Light-1" satellite, and the ways it supports international efforts to further comprehend the Earth's gamma rays.
