National Guard Commander meets Pakistani Prime Minister

Islamabad, Mar. 17 (BNA): National Guard Commander, General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, met here today the Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Prime Minister Khan, as well as their wishes of further progress and prosperity to brotherly Pakistan. The National Guard Commander lauded the advanced level of cooperation between the two countries, especially regarding the exchange of expertise, affirming the continuity of efforts to enhance bilateral relations. The two sides discussed ways to enhance relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples in all fields, in addition to regional and global issues of mutual interest. The Pakistani Prime Minister praised the progress witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain across all fields, under the leadership of HM the King. He also praised the ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two countries, especially at international gatherings. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa expressed thanks to Prime Minister Khan for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him, wishing Pakistan and its people further progress, prosperity, security and stability. Bahraini Ambassador to Pakistan, Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed, attended the meeting.
