Qatar Participates in the Arab Health Ministers Council Meeting

Cairo, March 24 (QNA) - The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), will participate in the 56th Ordinary Session of the Arab Health Ministers Council, set to take place at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo. The ministry's delegation is led by Assistant Minister for Health Affairs of the Ministry of Public Health in Qatar Salih bin Ali Al Marri. The meeting will review a number of topics, the most prominent of which is a draft Arab strategy to standardize registration procedure and the accreditation of vaccines and their use in the Arab world. There is also another draft Arab strategy to secure COVID-19 vaccines and ensure a fair access to vaccines for Arab countries, among other topics. (QNA)
