SC Holds Flag-Raising Celebration for Saudi Arabia, Japan, Uruguay After Qualifying for 2022 World Cup

Doha, March 25 (QNA) - The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) organized Friday a celebration at the Doha Corniche on the occasion of the qualification of the teams of Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Uruguay for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. HE SC Secretary-General Hassan Al Thawadi, CEO of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar Nasser Al Khater, Secretary-General of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) Mansour Al Ansari, Chief of Tournament Experience Khalid Al Mawlawi attended the ceremony along with HH Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Qatar Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Farhan Al-Saud, HE Ambassador of Japan to the State of Qatar Satoshi Maeda, and HE Ambassador of Uruguay to the State of Qatar Jorge Antonio Sere Sturzenegger. The flag-raising celebration came as a welcome to the three teams that qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and their fans in Qatar, which will host the event at the end of 2022.
