      FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Draw Represents Important Milestone Ahead of World's Most Prominent Footballing Event

Doha, March 29 (QNA) - CEO of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Nasser Al Khater confirmed that the World Cup draw process, scheduled for Friday, will be the most important stage before the start of the finals of the world's biggest football event. 
	In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Khater said that after conducting the draw process, the features of the World Cup in Qatar will appear more clearly, as the teams will be placed in the eight groups during the upcoming World Cup, which Qatar will host for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab world.
	He described the draw event as important and great, as it is the last step before the start of the World Cup matches, expressing hope that this event will be especial and satisfy all those who attend the draw, whether in Qatar or around the world.
	The CEO of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 indicated that the World Cup draw is expected to be watched by more than 200 million people around the world, with more than 350 channels broadcasting this important event.
	Al Khater explained that this important event is awaited by all football fans around the world, especially the fans of the teams that have already qualified as well as all the players and technical teams that will be present at this event as they waits to know their groups and the teams they will face in the strongest football competition.
	Al Khater expressed his satisfaction with the preparations in place to organize the World Cup draw, which will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, one of the most prominent and fully equipped Qatari facilities, hoping that the World Cup draw will satisfy all teams participating in the event that will be held in Qatar.
	He expressed his hope to see seven Arab teams in the World Cup finals in Qatar, because this would represent a historic moment for the Arab region, pointing out that the second leg qualifiers for the decisive round of the African continent, which will be held today, may result in the qualification of four Arab teams, along with Qatar and Saudi Arabia, from the Asian continent, in addition, there is an opportunity for the UAE and Iraq teams to bypass the Asian playoffs and face the fifth South American qualifiers.
	At the conclusion of his statement, Al Khater pointed out that the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 was an important milestone on the way to the World Cup, in which stadiums, operational plans and transportation plans were tested, as well as the homogeneity of work teams with each other.
