Al-Arab Highlights Qatar Leadership Centre's Celebration of Graduation of 9th Batch 2021
Doha, April 10 (QNA) - In its editorial on Sunday, Al-Arab newspaper highlighted Qatar Leadership Centre's (QLC) celebration of the graduation of the 9th batch of 2021 in the "government, future and executive" leadership programs and the 3rd batch of the "Executive Master's in Leadership - Qatar" program, in a way that reflects the State's strategy in building its youth and future cadres, in order to achieve the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The newspaper noted the speech of HE Chairperson of QLC's Board of Directors Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, during the ceremony, in which HE said that the State of Qatar is undergoing a major and rapid transformation process for self-reliance and achieving growth in various fields, and that she is certain that graduates, through their executive and administrative positions, will use the leadership skills they acquired to advance State's institutions and promote comprehensive development and the knowledge economy. Her Excellency affirmed her confidence in the Qatari competencies that the country relies on to overcome all challenges in vital areas that contribute to the comprehensive development and renaissance of Qatar, the paper added.
Al-Arab stressed the importance of the role played by the Qatar Leadership Centre, especially in terms of opening new programs to enhance the leadership skills of its affiliates, including the Executive Master's Program in Leadership in Arabic, which was launched this year in cooperation with Qatar University, which provides a qualitative addition to its affiliates alongside the Executive Master in Leadership program in cooperation with McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University in Washington.
The paper explained that QLC, which was established in 2010, has provided the country so far with more than 800 highly qualified leaders to be an added value to the State's governmental and private institutions.
It pointed out that the graduation of this batch comes within the many achievements and successes experienced by the State of Qatar, as the world's attention is directed to Doha which is the sport capital of the world that hosted a few days ago the 72nd FIFA Congress and celebrated the opening of Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, the first of its kind in the Middle East.
Al-Arab concluded its editorial by emphasizing the role of graduates in the development of the country's creative economy, especially since the whole world is aware of the importance of this type of economy in achieving sustainable development for any country. (QNA)
