Public Officials' Tennis Contest Begins in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- A tennis contest of officials from ministries and national institutions in the DPRK began at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and the Taekwon-Do Hall on April 26. In the contest, more than 1 000 players selected from ministries and national institutions will play knockout games, divided into four groups. Teams in Groups A and C will compete at the Taekwon-Do Hall and Groups B and D at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium. In the first-day match players displayed their high skills and team spirit while playing fair games. The contest will last until May 4. -0-
