Astana, May 28, 2009 (Khabar) - Some notorious corrupted cases are coming to an end. Financial police passed to the Prosecutors’ office investigation materials concerning ex-Minister of Environmental Protection Nurlan Iskakov and two his deputies Zeinulla Sarsembayev and Alzhan Braliyev. Financial police also blames ex director of department of Astana construction and his subordinates. The agency also finishes investigation of criminal case against Anatoliy Ryabtsev, chairman of Committee on water resources under Ministry of Agriculture. On May 23, the financial police sent blaming conclusion on Mr Iskakov to Prosecutors’ office.

- Criminal cases on director of department of Astana construction Mr Nurmagambetov and two heads of city department of this establishment Mustafayev and Makhmetov are ended. They are blamed for abusing of power and embezzlement of budget funds for the sum 1 billion 40 million tenge allocated for the construction of kindergarten, housing complex on Tlendiyev avenue and many-flat house with built-in library, city complex 5 according to state housing program, secondary school for 1 200 pupils.
Three criminal cases are investigated concerning employees of Astana’s healthcare department.
Murat Zhumanbai, official spokesman of Agency of RK on fighting economic and corrupted criminality:
- Head of Astana’s healthcare department Karibekov and his deputy Almukhambetov illegally transferred budget funds for the account of “Globus & K” LLP for non delivered medical equipment to city hospital № 1, polyclinic № 2 and maternity hospital № 3. The preliminary sum of caused damage is 22,9 million tenge and Mansurov, director of “Globus & K” LLP is also blamed for swindle and on April 10 he was arrested according to the court sanction.
Investigation of criminal cases against Anatoliy Ryabtsev, chairman of Committee on water resources under Ministry of Agriculture and his deputy Kenshimov are coming to an end. It is supposed they stole 17 million tenge from budget.

- One more criminal case against employees of this committee is investigated, they didn’t inspected the volume of work on constructing of group pipeline “Kentau-Turkestan” in South Kazakhstani region and signed act on accepting of work with increased sum 1,4 billion tenge. And this act of non functioning water pipeline was signed by Ryabtsev.
During four months financial policemen revealed 584 crimes of corrupted character and third part of them concern bribe taking and forgery.
