HEC Chief meets London South Bank University officials

London, May26 (BNA): Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary-General Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa discussed cooperation with London South Bank University (LSBU) Vice-Chancellor Professor David Phoenix and Pro-director for Education Professor Deborah Jonston, on the sidelines of her visit to London to attend the Education World Forum. She stressed the council’s keenness on promoting cooperation and joint work to build partnerships between local academic institutions and their counterparts in the world in order to bolster Bahrain’s standing as a regional hub for higher education. Professor Phoenix noted higher education cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom in support of comprehensive development.
