Sunni Endowments Chairman receives German Muslims Supreme Council Secretary-General

Manama, June 1 (BNA): Sunni Endowment Council Chairman Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajri received Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Muslims in Germany Abdul Samad Al Yazidi. The meeting discussed the developed Bahraini-German relations and ways to strengthen them. Al Hajri stressed Bahrain's keenness, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to consolidate the true Islamic principles, spread its values, call for peace and cooperation, and reject divisive conflicts. He referred to His Majesty's patronage of the EU-Bahrain Conference “Broadening the Tent: Freedom of Religion and Belief” (FORB), and praised the role of the Supreme Council of Muslims in Germany in promoting the true Islam values of peace, love and mutual respect. The two parties emphasized the significance of expanding beneficial collaboration in the service of Islam and Muslims.
