Ambassador to Rome receives Council of Muslim Elders Secretary-General

Rome, Jun 2 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to Itaaly Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balooshi, received today the Secretary-General of the Council of Muslim Elders and the Higher Committee for Human Fraternity, Counselor Mohammed Abdulsalam, who present a copy of his book: "The Imam, the Pope and the Difficult Path... A Testimony to the Birth of the Document of Human Fraternity", on the occasion of his visit to Rome. Dr. Al Balooshi stressed Bahrain’s pride in the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He hailed the efforts of the Muslim Council of Elders led by the Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, and his enlightened contributions to spreading the values of tolerance, moderation and peace, rejecting extremism and hatred, and His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Catholic Church, signing the “Human Fraternity Document for Global Peace and Coexistence” in Abu Dhabi, the sisterly United Arab Emirates, in February 2019. Counselor Mohamed Abdulsalam, praised Bahrain’s efforts for tolerance and human brotherhood, and the consolidation of peace, coexistence and dialogue among religions, cultures and civilizations.
