Plan to enhance project management highlighted

Manama, Jun 3 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf said that the strategic plan set out aims to enhance professional projects management in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He stressed years-long efforts to train engineers in order to obtain professional certificates in project management, in cooperation with international specialized institutes. He made the statement as he met a number of ministry’s affiliates who have obtained the Project Management Professional-PMP certificate, which is issued and supervised by the Project Management Institute - PMI, based in the United States of America. The Minister congratulated the engineers on their achievements and praised Bahraini competencies, stressed the Government’s keenness on honing the skills of human resources, which represent the driving engine of national development.
