Bahrain play Lebanon in West Asia Futsal Championship

Manama, Jun 4 (BNA): Bahrain will take on Lebanon tomorrow, Sunday, in the fourth West Asia Futsal Championship, being held in the State of Kuwait. The match has been scheduled to kick off at 4.15 pm at the Kuwait Al Nasr Club sports arena. The national futsal team has been drawn in Group D, which includes Lebanon, the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates. Bahrain eyes a victory in the opening match to secure three points and boost its changes of booking a berth in the semi-finals. The tops two teams of both groups A and B will qualify to the semi-finals. The national coach Leeno lined up 14 players for the tournament – Jassim Anan, Mohammed Al Sendi, Sayyed Fadhel Radhi, Sayyed Mohammed Hameed, Hamed Abdulla, Ali Areebi, Ahmed Abdulnabi., Saleh Ahmed, Ammar Hassan, Salman Al Mulla, Falah Abbas, Hassan Marzoooq, Ahmed Antar and Mohammed Abdulla. Bahrain will play Oman on Tuesday at 6.30 pm before taking over the UAE on Thursday at 4.15 pm.
