GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee holds meeting

Riyadh, Jun 13 (BNA): The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee held its 116th meeting at the General Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Saudi Finance Minister, incumbent president of the current session, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Jadaan chaired the meeting, in the presence of GCC Secretary-General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al Hajraf. The session reviewed the recommendations submitted by the Central Banks Governors’ Committee, Tax Directors’ Committee, Customs Union Authority and the Gulf Common Market Committee. It was also updated about the team in charge of the G20 financial initiatives and the signing of an agreement on the system of linking payments between GCC countries.
