Foreign Minister receives Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister

Manama, June 14 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received at the Ministry today, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Berdiniyaz Matiyev, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. They reviewed distinguished historical relations between the two friendly countries and means of strengthening them. They also discussed regional and international issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and the Chief of Afro-Asian Affairs, Fatima Abdulla Al Dhaen.
