Foreign Minister bids farewell to US Deputy Head of Mission

Manama, Jun 14 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received today, the Deputy Head of the United States Mission to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Margaret Nardi, on the occasion of the end of her tenure, in the presence of the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Stephen Bundy. During the meeting, the minister praised the relentless efforts exerted by Mrs. Nardi throughout her tenure, and her positive contributions to strengthening the historical relations and the solid strategic partnership between the two friendly countries at various levels, wishing her continued success. For her part, Mrs. Nardi expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Minister and all officials for their constant support, and their keenness to consolidate bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership for the benefit of both countries and peoples, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. The meeting was attended by the Chief of American Affairs, Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and the Chief of Strategic Affairs, Ambassador Nancy Abdulla Jamal.
