Capital Governor receives Turkish Ambassador

Manama, June 15 (BNA): Capital Governor, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received here today the Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain, Esen Çakil, in the presence of the Director of Social Programmes and Society Affairs at the Capital Governorate, Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa. The two sides discussed topics pertaining to ways to strengthen bilateral relations and achieve the interests of two friendly countries. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman affirmed the major role played by the two countries’ leaderships in bolstering cooperation between the two countries, lauding the depth of bilateral relations and wishing the envoy further success. The ambassador congratulated Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman on the precious royal trust bestowed upon him through his appointment to his post, wishing him every success in carrying out the tasks entrusted to him. She hailed the depth of the long-standing Bahraini-Turkish relations.
