Bahraini Ambassador in Brussels meets with Group of Friends of Bahrain in European Parliament

Brussels, June 28 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Dosari, met today in Brussels with the Group of Friends of Bahrain in the European Parliament, headed by MEP Tomáš Zdechovský. During the meeting, the ambassador praised growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Parliament and aspects of joint cooperation and coordination with the European Union countries in various fields to support common interests. He further referred to the efforts and achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the areas of economic diversification, environmental protection, combating climate change, developing the tourism sector, and continuing its development and strategic projects within the framework of the economic recovery plan. For their part, MEP Tomáš Zdechovský and members of the European Parliament praised the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of parliamentary work, its economic and social development within the framework of the economic recovery plan. They also lauded the housing projects provided for citizens and Bahrain’s status as a model of peaceful coexistence between religions, cultures and civilisations.
