HEC Secretary-General receives Israeli academic delegation

Manama, Jun 28 (BNA): Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary General, HEC Board of Trustees’ Vice Chair, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al-Khalifa received an Israeli academic delegation representing Tel Aviv, Bar- Ilan, Haifa and Reichman Universities, in the present of the Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Kingdom of Bahrain Eitan Na’eh. The delegation is on a visit to Bahrain to be updated about the Kingdom’s higher education strides, exchange expertise and promote cooperation with academic institutions in the fields of scientific research, training and development. Dr. Shaikha Ranad praised outstanding bilateral relations, stressing Bahrain’s keenness on consolidating joint cooperation in the fields of education and scientific research and exchange expertise towards supporting development. The delegation hailed HEC Secretary-General’s efforts to develop higher education, stressing the importance attached by the Kingdom of Bahrain to this vital sector.
