Minister of Foreign Affairs lauds Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy achievements

Manama, June 30 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani has lauded the endeavors of the bicameral parliament in enhancing democracy and parliamentary achievements at the local, regional and international forums. Marking the International Day of Parliamentarism, Al Zayani commended the support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also expressed appreciation to the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives for their cooperation in drafting the National Action Plan for Human Rights (2022-2026) and their follow-up with its implementation in line with international human rights conventions and charters. The minister also commended Bahrain's democratic and parliamentary achievements under HM the King's comprehensive sustainable development process with the support of HRH the Crown Prince, which greatly contributed to the protection of rights and the independence of the legislative, executive and judicial branches.
