Tourism Minister receives British Ambassador

Manama, July 5 (BNA): Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi receives UK Ambassador to Bahrain Roderick Drummond. The minister hailed the deep historical Bahraini-British relations. She praised the cooperation in the tourism sector and noted the importance of the UK market at the global level. Al Sairafi stressed the ministry’s keenness to strengthen cooperation to achieve common goals. The ambassador noted that the importance of the tourism sector as a major pillar of economic development and noted the expectation for the electronic visa waiver for Bahrainis to travel to the UK will help strengthen tourism between the two countries.
