Foreign Minister meets with Prime Minister’s Special Representative and Minister of State for South and Central Asia, UN, and Commonwealth at FCDO

London, July 5 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met in London today with the Prime Minister’s Special Representative and the Minister of State for South and Central Asia, United Nations, and the Commonwealth at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Lord Ahmed Tariq Ahmad, during the Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief, held in London. During the meeting, the two sides discussed relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and their development, as well as means to promote joint cooperation in various fields. The meeting confirmed joint efforts to enhance the existing cooperation between the two countries in the field of human rights protection, and to promote the values of tolerance and coexistence between people of religions and beliefs. The meeting was attended by the Director General of Ministry Affairs, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al-Ansari, and the minister’s accompanying delegation.
