Bahrain U-20 football team gearing up for Arab Cup

Manama, July 9 (BNA): Bahrain U-20 Football Team is stepping up preparations ahead of the Arab Cup, scheduled to kick off on July 20 in Abha, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Led by coach Adel Alnoaimi, the national squad will resume its training on Monday (July11), said team director Jomaa Al Mahameed. The team has concluded its training camp, which was held in Turkey from June 23 until last Thursday (July7). During its training camp in Turkey, the national squad won three friendly matches, while the fourth was interrupted due to turbulent weather ath 70th minute while the score was goalless. The national U-20 team will also take part in the 2023 Asian Cup – Qualifiers, which will be held in Bahrain on September 10-18.
