Bahrain embassy Chargé d'Affaires to Ireland participates in Irish National Day of Commemoration ceremony

Dublin, July 11 (BNA): In the presence of the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, the Non-Resident Chargé d’Affaires of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Embassy to the Republic of Ireland, Counselor Hussain Mohammed Alam, took part in the annual celebration of the Irish National Day of Commemoration, which commemorates all Irishmen and Irishwomen who died in past wars or on service with the United Nations.
The ceremony saw the participation of the Irish Prime Minister, Micheal Martin, as well as senior officials from the Irish government and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Ireland.
Following the ceremony, the Chargé d’Affaires attended a luncheon hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defence of the Republic of Ireland, Simon Coveney, for members of the diplomatic corps.
The Bahraini Chargé d'Affaires conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and those of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and their wishes for further progress and prosperity for the friendly Republic of Ireland. He also noted the growing bilateral relations, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness to further enhance them.
