Al-Watan Affirms Need for Regional Dialogue to Resolve Crises

Doha, July 19 (QNA) - In its editorial on Tuesday, Al-Watan newspaper stressed the necessary presence of regional dialogue to resolve political and security crises, which will encourage an agreement regarding the Iranian nuclear file, and eliminate the specter of war from a region that has suffered enough from the wars it has witnessed. Tehran and Washington have not yet removed the diplomatic option from their agenda, which proves the absence of the US green light to Israel, the paper said, adding that Washington, which is preoccupied with the war on Ukraine, will not accept igniting a new crisis that cannot be contained. The paper expressed regret at the continuation of the war in Ukraine, without any signs of possible negotiations that could put an end to it by peaceful means, with the economic repercussions that affect the entire globe. Al-Watan concluded its editorial by affirming that dialogue seems more urgent than previous periods of time, as only dialogue can achieve security and stability for all countries and advance the development process that cannot flourish in the light of conflicts.
