Bahrain strongly condemns terrorist attack against Federal Police in Iraq

Manama, July 20 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced the heinous terrorist attack that targeted members of the federal police in Salah al-Din Governorate in northern Iraq, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of policemen. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government, the brotherly Iraqi people and the families of the victims, and its wishes for speedy recovery to the injured. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Bahrain’s full solidarity with the brotherly Republic of Iraq in its war against terrorism, and its support for the measures it is taking to preserve its security, stability, unity and territorial integrity, renewing its call for intensifying international efforts to eliminate extremist terrorist organisations, and dry up their financial and intellectual sources.
