Municipalities Minister receives British Ambassador

Manama, July 21 (BNA): Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak received UK Ambassador to Bahrain Roderick Drummond. The meeting stressed the historical Bahrain-UK relations and cooperation in the afforestation sector, in line with the Kingdom’s plan to implement an afforestation national strategy to reach zero neutrality in the year 2060 and protect the environment. The minister praised the ambassador’s efforts in strengthening bilateral relations. The ambassador highlighted Bahrain’s steady progress, noting keenness to strengthen relations and exchange experiences in various fields.
