Qatar Handball Team Leaves for Turkey to Participate in Islamic Solidarity Games

Doha, August 04 (QNA) - Qatar handball team left Thursday heading to Turkey to participate in the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games which will take place in Konya from Aug. 9-18. The team squad includes 16 players. Qatar handball team will join Saudi Arabi, Morocco in group A while group B consists of Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan. Last May, Qatar handball team won the gold medal in the handball competition at the third GCC Games in Kuwait. (QNA)
