TONY FERNANDES WELL, ALLOWED HOME TO REST

SEPANG, June 2 (Bernama) -- AirAsia group chief executive officer (CEO)
Tony Fernandes is resting at home after being given a clean bill of
health by doctors this evening, after he fainted at the Low Cost Carrier
Terminal (LCCT) here Monday evening.

Air Asia in a statement issued here Monday said Fernandes was taken to the
Pusrawi Medical Centre at the KLIA main terminal building after he fainted at
the LCCT upon arrival on a flight from northern Penang-state.

Doctors examining him blamed it on exhaustion and advised him to get some
rest, it said.

Tony was returning from Penang after attending AirAsia’s Penang-Singapore
inaugural flight celebration Monday morning, it said.
