Contest of children’s picture
Ust-Kamenogorsk, June 02, 2009 (Khabar) - In Ust-Kamenogorsk, “Kazatomprom” national company has held in contest among young creators of graffiti. Children like to pain on gates and “Kazatomprom” national company decided to organize contest of children’s pictures. Every side has won, the gates of metallurgical plant have become gallery and winners of contest have received valuable gifts. “Territory of Peace” is one of most favorite contests of children. There are no any restrictions on themes here. Over 5 000 children of employees of all enterprises of “Kazatomprom” had taken part into contest since 2003.
Ivan Monastyrnykh, participant of contest “Territory of peace”:
- The employees of the complex built dull and grey fence and we wanted to color it in order it would be beautiful and people admire with it.
Tatyana Lutskaya, employee of East Kazakhstani ethnographic museum:
- Over 1000 works have been presented and theme is free. They have demonstrated fantasy and skills to paint and I would give the first place to all the participants of the contest.
Ulba metallurgical plant is one of world leaders on production of fuel for atomic stations and it also produces products from tantalum and beryllium. The enterprise signed memorandum on social responsibility with city authorities and always helps orphanages and boarding schools of the region.
Bulat Ashikbayev, director of department on work with personnel of “Kazatomprom” national company:
- Today we have presented ambulance car to prenatal center on behalf of “Kazatomprom” and the automobile is equipped with modern technics. I hope the car will be used for preventive measures for population.
The smallest participants have received constructor sets and older children were presented mobile telephones and DVD players. According to the results of the contest, colorful album with children’s pictures will be issued with humoristic instructions when and where gates can be painted.
