Education Minister receives delegation from Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): Minister of Education, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, the Board of Trustees Chairman of the Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid College for Islamic Studies, received today a delegation from the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, led by Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, the university’s Deputy Director and Executive Director for Academic Affairs. The Minister of Education praised distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE, commending the academic level of the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities and its advanced programmes. Both sides also discussed cooperation between the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities and the Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid College for Islamic Studies. Dr. Al Nuaimi briefed the delegation about a number of development projects being implemented by the ministry. He presented the head of the delegation with a commemorative shield representing Al-Hidaya Al-Khalifia School, the first regular school in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of Education.
