Civil Defence takes part in regional meeting

Manama, Aug. 18 (BNA): The General Directorate of Civil Defence participated in the second preparatory meeting for the project to update the regional risk record in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The virtual meeting was held from August 15 to 18 and discussed technical and scientific concepts to evaluate risks and timeframes to analyse and manage risks. The meeting was part of a series of meetings of the GCC Emergency Management Centre affiliated with the GCC Secretariat General and its Assistant Secretariat for Security Affairs.
