Qatar, S. Korea Confront Tomorrow in Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship

Manama, August 21 (QNA) - Qatar national youth volleyball team will meet its South Korean counterpart Monday, in its first matches within the Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship, currently held in Bahrain and will continue until Aug. 29. The Qatari national team played two friendly matches with its Bahraini and Egyptian counterparts in preparation for the tournament, in which it participates in the third group, alongside the national teams of Kuwait and South Korea. The national team will play its second match against its Kuwaiti counterpart next Wednesday. The Asian championship includes six groups, each of which includes three teams. Six Arab teams are participating in the championship, namely Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Iraq and Bahrain, the host country. (QNA)
