Deputy Prime Minister receives Algerian ambassador

Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa receives Algerian Ambassador to Bahrain Abdulhamid Ahmed Khoja. The deputy prime minister praised the historical bilateral relations. He expressed his sincere condolences to the Algerian government and people over the forest fires that swept several states and resulted in the death and injury of many citizens. The meeting reviewed the preparations of Algeria to host the Council of the League of Arab States meeting in November, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation, especially in air transport and tourism. The ambassador expressed his appreciation to the deputy prime minister for his interest and stressed his country’s aspiration to expand partnerships in various sectors.
