Industry Minister receives UN Resident Coordinator

Manama, Aug. 28 (BNA): Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed Rashid Alzayani received Khaled El Mekwad, on his appointment as UN Resident Coordinator in Bahrain. The minister congratulated El Mekwad on his new position, and stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen its partnerships with various UN organizations to achieve sustainable development goals. Alzayani wished the coordinator success in his duties.
