Deputy Chief of Public Security leads Bahrain’s delegation to UNCOPS

New York, Sept. 3 (BNA): Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa chaired the Bahrain delegation at the United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit (UNCOPS). Ambassador Jamal Rowaiei, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, attended the event, which was held here from August 31 to September 1. The Deputy Chief asserted the dedication of Bahrain to promoting global security cooperation to face increasing international security challenges and achieve security and peace for all. He highlighted the significance of continuing efforts to reinforce cooperation and coordination through exchanging expertise and experiences in countering terrorism and organised crimes. The summit reviewed the latest trends in global peace and security, along with the contributions of UN police in international security efforts.
