QNB Stars League: Al Duhail, Al Sailiya Coaches Stress Importance of Achieving Positive Result on Tuesday

Doha, September 12 (QNA) - Al Duhail and Al Sailiya coaches underlined their keenness to achieve the three points in their Week 7 match of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League on Tuesday at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.
Speaking to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 7 match against Al Sailiya, Al Duhail coach Hernan Crespo said, "We are ready for the Al Sailiya match, and everyone is working hard to win and collect points. We want to build a new philosophy for the team.
"Al Duhail are a great team and we must always find solutions and collect points in all the matches we play because the teams we face are doing their best to make our task difficult.
"This clash against Al Sailiya assumes more importance since it comes before a long break of the league and we must achieve a win and this depends on our focus and discipline on the field. We are entirely focused on this match.
"Regarding the team’s participation in the forthcoming Ooredoo Cup, I would say that every match in which our players wear the team’s shirt is important, and every tournament we play in, we strive to win the title. I respect the strength and importance of the league championship, but all tournaments are equally important to us.
"The team has players who have good levels and can develop through training. The recent results show the strength of the work we do in training and this is the first step and we must continue. I am proud of the players who are with me and they have succeeded in presenting themselves as required despite the absence of top players," said Crespo.
Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi said, "Certainly, the balance of power is different between Al Sailiya and Al Duhail, who are going through a good phase, unlike Al Sailiya, who are going through a very bad phase. But we have gone through more difficult conditions than these and more dangerous than the current situation, and we are still at the beginning of the season and we have many more matches. However, we feel great regret for wasting many points.
"An important match before the break. Al Duhail are a good team despite their lack of players, but they remain a strong team. I hope we are ready, especially at the psychological level and that we cross the mental barrier. After that, Al Sailiya will move qualitatively in terms of results," said Trabelsi. (QNA)
