HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa receives former Kuwaiti Health Minister

Manama, Sept. 15 (BNA): Ministry of Cabinet Affairs Undersecretary, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Good Word Society, received at Bahrain International Airport VIP Lounge today former Kuwaiti Minister of Health, Cabinet Court Advisor Shaikh Dr. Basel Humoud Al Sabah, as part of honoring him with the 12th edition of HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work (for honoring Arab cadres working in the front lines). HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa welcomed Shaikh Dr. Basel Humoud Al Sabah, stressing the depth of fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the state of Kuwait. He lauded his prominent and dedicated efforts to develop the health sector in Kuwait, commending his contributions to build a modern and advanced health system capable of facing challenges and chronic diseases in Kuwait and the whole region. For his part, Shaikh Dr. Basel Humoud Al Sabah praised the efforts of HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa to promote voluntary and development work in the Kingdom of Bahrain and spread the culture of voluntarism at the Arab level. He also expressed appreciation for nominating him to receive the 12th edition of his award for voluntary work. He also commended the care given to voluntary work in the Kingdom of Bahrain in light of the comprehensive reform approach and enlightened vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
