King, Queen And PM Extend Malaysia Day Wishes

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 16 (Bernama) -- King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Queen Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah today wished Malaysians a Happy Malaysia Day. Their Majesties’ 2022 Malaysia Day wishes to Malaysians were featured in a poster that was posted on the official Facebook of Istana Negara today. "Happy Malaysia Day 2022 September 16, 2022. "Their Majesties pray that Malaysia continues to be protected from all forms of threats and calamities, be blessed and bestowed with lasting prosperity and unity," read the caption on the poster. Malaysia Day is celebrated on Sept 16 every year to commemorate the formation of Malaysia. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob in a post on his Facebook page said today’s auspicious Malaysia Day should be the catalyst to further boost the unity, inclusivity, togetherness and blessings of every citizen based on the values of the Malaysian Family. In a brief message in conjunction with the significant day, he prayed that the Malaysian Family would continue to uphold the spirit of national integration, loyalty to the King and country as well as that Malaysia would continue to enjoy peace and prosperity. “I want to wish Happy Malaysia Day 2022 to the whole Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family wherever you may be… Selamat Hari Malaysia Keluarga Malaysia - Teguh Bersama! (Happy Malaysia Day Malaysian Family - Stronger Together!),” he said. The Prime Minister is scheduled to attend and speak at the national-level Malaysia Day 2022 celebration in Melaka tonight.
