Undersecretary meets Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain

Manama, Sept. 17 (BNA): Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry Undersecretary for Agriculture and Marine Resources Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan met the Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Kingdom of Bahrain Eitan Na'eh and stressed cooperation in the field of food security. Dr. Hassan stressed the importance of developing agriculture, fisheries and animal resources in line with Bahrain’s drive to support food security. The two sides reviewed initiatives and programmes aimed at achieving food self-sufficiency, highlighting efforts to support fish farming and using modern technologies to develop agriculture. They also discussed plans to boost stocks of red meat.
