Saudi Shura Council Secretary General receives Shura Council delegation

Riyadh, Sept. 18 (BNA): Secretary General of the Saudi Shura Council, Mohammed bin Dakhil Al-Mutairi, received at the council’s headquarters in Riyadh today a delegation comprising a number of officials from the Shura Council who are on a visit to the Saudi Shura Council. The visit aims to further cement relations of cooperation and exchange expertise between the Shura Council and the Gulf councils, in activation of plans of training and exchange of knowledge. During the visit, the Saudi Shura Council Secretary General presented a briefing on the work mechanism of the council and its legislative and monitoring role on the performance of the government bodies. After the meeting, the Shura Council delegation toured the Saudi Shura Council, which included the council’s historical library and museum.
