President of the Maldives visits Bait Al-Quran

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): Accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdellatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, President of the Republic of the Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, and his accompanying delegation paid a visit today to Bait Al-Quran where they were received by its founder, Dr. Abdellatif Jassim Kanoo. The Maldivian President toured Bait Al-Quran and got informed about the great interest accorded to the Holy Quran and its sciences, which were preserved by the precious and rare Islamic manuscripts. He also expressed appreciation of the Quranic manuscripts and the wonderful artistic Arab calligraphy in it, praising Bait Al-Quran’s interest in serving the Holy Quran and its sciences.
