Bahrain to play Egypt in two friendly handball matches

Manama, Oct. 10 (BNA): Bahrain is stepping up preparations ahead of the 2023 IHF World Men's Handball Championship which will be hosted by the International Handball Federation in Poland and Sweden from 11 to 29 January.
The national team will take Egypt in two friendly matches which will be played on Friday and Saturday (October 14 and 15).
Led by Iceland coach Aron Kristjansson, the national team is conducting the first phase of its training camp, while the second phase will start after the 9th round of the Khalid bin Hamad League in November.
Bahrain has been drawn in Group H, which includes also Denmark, Belgium and Tunisia.
The national coach has lined up 26 players for the training camp – Hussein Al Sayyed, Mohammed Abdul Hussein, Ali Mirza, Ahmed Al Maqabi, Hassan Al Samaheeji, Mohammed Mirza, Ali Eid, Kumail Mahfoudh, Qassim Qamber, Jassim Al Salatna, Saud Al Junaid, Mohammed Habib Nasser, Abdulla Ali, Hassan Mirza, Bilal Basham, Mahmoud Hussein, Ahmed Jalal, Hassan Madan, Sayyed Ali Basem, Abdulla Al Zaiymur, Mohammed Hameed, Hesham Ahmed and Montadher Ibrahim.
