Syrian, Russian talks to enhance cooperation in the energy field

13 October، 2022 Moscow, SANA- Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ Minister, Bassam Touma, discussed Thursday with the Russian Minister of Energy Nikolai Shulginov means of developing and enhancing cooperation between Syria and Russia in various energy domains . Talks during the meeting which was held on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum currently held in Moscow, focused on many projects, including the project of gas compressors’ plant, the two fields of Tuinan and Al-Ballas in cooperation with STG Engineering, project of completing Tishreen thermal station with Techno Export, phosphate projects with the company STG Logistics, the oil shale investment project in Syria in addition to many other promising projects. Later, Minister Touma told SANA correspondent that both sides reviewed the projects implemented by Russian companies in Syria in addition to the difficulties they are facing.
