Preparations to host Formula 1 race discussed

Manama, Oct. 16 (BNA): Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak received Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) CEO Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa. The ministry's Undersecretary Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa was present. The meeting discuss the circuit’s preparations to host the Formula 1 race. The minister praised BIC’s role in serving sports and promoting Bahrain’s achievements and reputation regionally and internationally. He expressed the ministry's readiness to cooperate with the BIC and provide all necessary support for hosting various sporting events, including Formula 1. Shaikh Salman expressed appreciation to the ministry’s efforts to coordinate for the upcoming F1.
