BDF chief receives Commander of US Central Command

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received here today the Commander of the US Central Command, Lieutenant-General Michael Corella, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi. The BDF chief lauded the solid friendly Bahraini-US relations, which are progressing steadily at all levels, which will strengthen bilateral cooperation and coordination further. He expressed hope that joint coordination in various fields, particularly the military one, will continue, in a way that would serve the two countries' defence relations.
